It happened in the 5th ODI match of HERO HONDA cup against Australia in 2009. At one stage INDIA was on the losing side. But it was SACHIN innings which gave a hope of claiming the match from them. Australians imposed a huge total of 351 for Indians in the day-night match at Hyderabad. Indians started the innings with a good start. But it began to crumble when SHEWAG went out for 20s. As the upcoming batsmen failed to score runs SACHIN took the responsibility of building partnership. But no support was given to him from the other end. At one stage India was 162/4. SURESH RAINA then came to rescue team INDIA along with SACHIN. They had a partnership of around 150. This had put INDIA in a strong position. But once again the match turned in favor of the opponents. When both SACHIN and RAINA go out, the wickets fell in a quick time. INDIA lost the match by three runs. Though INDIA lost this match, many positives can be gained from this match. It helps the youngsters how to perform under pressure.
